Singing Lessons Glasgow Teacher - Catrin Woodruff

Teacher Bio:

Hello. My name is Catrin Woodruss and I am a classically trained soprano, currently studying on the Opera course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. An experienced tutor, I enjoy working with aspiring singers of all ages and abilities in order to help people sing the music they love in the healthiest way possible.

I am happy to work on a wide range of repertoire, including opera and classical pieces, musical theatre repertoire, pop and film music, jazz standards and anything in between. I can also help prepare pupils for concerts and exams, and teach the building blocks of music to anyone wanting to learn how to read music and get a grasp of basic music theory.

I have taught privately for a number of years, and have also held posts in various schools as a peripatetic singing teacher. My pupils all sing for pleasure, but I have also helped many of them to attain qualifications at a high level.

Many of my pupils have taken ABRSM singing exams, from Prep Test to Grade 8 standard, with a 100% pass rate. I have also helped past pupils to secure choral scholarships at Oxford University and places at the BRIT School.
